FAQ’s

  • RSVP Deadline

Please RSVP by 31st May 2024! This allows us time to finalise numbers with the venue and catering team.

  • Children

We love your little ones but we want to encourage all mummies and daddies to give yourselves a night off from childcare. Understanding this might not be possible for all, please let us know if your children need to be with you and we can have a chat about arrangements at the venue.

  • What to Wear

You may be thinking, what on earth does Lounge Suits mean?! We also had to google it to be sure…basically, a smart suit, dresses, jumpsuits. Think English country summer wedding vibes!

  • Indoors/Outdoors

We are hoping that the weather Gods are good to us! The reception will predominantly be outside on Leander’s gorgeous lawn, patio and terrace. We’ll then move inside later in the evening for more drinks and dancing!

If the weather does take a turn for the worse then we’ll make the most of the beautiful bar and dining rooms inside the club.

  • Parking

If you are driving straight to the church, there is parking opposite in Harpsden Court Field.

For those staying at The Relais and Hotel Du Vin, both hotels offer parking for a small fee. There is also a handful of long stay carparks in Henley and free parking on side roads if you’re willing to hunt!

You are also welcome to park in the Leander Club car park from Friday afternoon through to Sunday afternoon.

  • Main Addresses

Ceremony: St. Margaret’s Church, Harpsden Way, Harpsden, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 4AX

    Reception: Leander Club, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 2LP

    Brunch: Leander Club, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 2LP

  • What time should we arrive

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2pm so please arrive 15-30 minutes before to be seated. The church is cosy and we’d like everyone to be as comfy as possible!

  • Is there a time gap between the ceremony and reception

You can head straight to Leander Club after the ceremony and we’ll see you there shortly afterwards (once we’ve had some cute pics taken in the church meadows).

  • Gifts

We know it’s cliché, but honestly, your presence is our present! Some good friends of ours asked for cards (and we really loved that) so we would love to receive a card from you all, there will be a space at Leander to drop these. If you’d really like to get us something, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be warmly received!
